Submissions are due by 5:00 PM on Wednesday, March 30, 2022. Voting will take place virtually the week of April 4th, and in-person at our Creed Art Initiative tabling events on April 4th and 7th. Follow @theucfcreed for voting information.
Please review contest rules carefully to ensure eligibility. We encourage our online and regional campus students to participate.
*Winners of the Creed Art Initiative must be present to receive their award*
The UCF Creed Art Initiative was created by the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities to increase awareness of the UCF Creed, by encouraging creativity and open discussion about UCF’s values. The UCF Creed Art Initiative is a campus-wide art contest open to all UCF students.
This is a student’s opportunity to creatively express what the University values mean to them. Artwork is displayed across campus following the voting period. The two pieces that earn the most votes win a prize– Apple Air Pod Pros or a Series 3 Apple Watch!
In the interest of safety and fairness, the Creed Art Initiative is going fully online for its submission and consideration guidelines this year. All digital submissions will be printed out and displayed at the in-person voting events on April 4th and April 7th, in addition to being showcased on our Instagram.
If your art piece is physical, and you are comfortable submitting it in-person to our office located at Ferrell Commons 227, you are free to do so at any time (during business hours). Digital submissions are considered official submissions for the purpose of the contest; physical submissions that are not also submitted digitally per the Submission Rules will not be considered for prizes. Physical art submitted to SCAI will be displayed throughout our office and elsewhere on campus!
Note: SCAI is not responsible for lost or damaged artwork. Art will not be returned once it is submitted.
